Been here 6 years...this is the first time...ever..that he's given us an 'optional' holiday.
I'm tripping out right now. Everyone is like "Oh did you hear?" and I'm like "Don't get your hopes up...it's some kind of mistake..."

Oh it's not company vacation is optional...it's an 'optional holiday' as defined by the government, that he is making us take.
I've worked Christmas Eve every year here, and I think even a Remembrance Day once. Christmas Eve I believe is another 'optional' but I'm pretty sure Remembrance Day is a stat...
So maybe he fell and hit his head or something...
