TBH I felt the same way too but did you watch the trailer though? I found myself laughing
and yes I think the lobster down the pants seemed a bit more crass than I remember but maybe that was thrown in for the parents? it is PG

I think it might win because of the time separation between the old and the new. I expect this to gather a lot of interest from the young that really aren't all that familiar with the original.
