young kids require lots of crap especially on long outings and a stroller makes a nice luggage cart.

plus carrying a sleeping two year old gets heavy after a while.

Yes, when you go someplace that has lots and lots of walking, sometimes you bring a stroller for a 6 year old. They get tired of walking and inevitably it's always on the opposite side of the park from the car.

Having a stroller handy at a place like that is great. It's good for carrying your crap around as well as for tossing the kid in when they get tired, which invariably happens.

Then why must you be more retarded with it than people at costco and their carts?

People tend to get out of the way and/or make special accommodations for those with strollers. People pushing strollers tend to use them like the cow catchers on old locomotives - to shove others out of their way and to wedge themselves into the front of the pack. I imagine it's a hard habit to break if you just spent the last 3 or so years troubling the public with your screaming, lazy spawn in a stroller at every public place you can find. So when the kid gets old enough to walk, but *might* want the stroller, they bring it along to use for crowd navigation and to get "special treatment". It's the same story with fatties and their little rascal scooters...

My daughter is 6 years old and when we visit theme parks or zoos we still get her a stroller. As she says, 'Short legs here, guys! Slow down!' If we throw her in a stroller we can make better time.

Went to the zoo today because the family of orangutans who raised me in the jungle until I was 5 lives there, but nobody would give me a ride in their stroller. I got really angry and killed a lion, a snow leopard, a tiger, and a zebra, but the zebra was just because I was hungry. I had so much fun.

Nice, I sometimes go to the zoo to throw food at warthogs and watch them wag their tails. They're like miniature fat people.
