MC.net is all f'd up again. It came up long enough for me to get back in so I am just parked there, heh. Looks like it might be down hard again as I can see two different people trying to connect over and over and not getting in.

ROFL! my boyfriend read my remark about minecraft griefing his cool factor by geeking out on the back of the bike playing minecraft, actually had the balls to dare me to do it. So, any of you have any good ideas on how I can deck out my helmet all minecrafty? Initially thought to do it Steve style, but thinking making my helmet into a creeper head would be better. It's a black deco helmet that I just haven't had done yet, wasn't sure what I wanted on it... now I know! I just can't figure out how to do it and not have it turn out looking like some freakish glow-worm on my head lol

Get the creeper face on the back with some green/white speckle around it to make it look like the creeper skin.

Heres some of the stuff I've been working on, my manor in a snow valley, and I've started my sea fortress, might build a series of buildings along the coastline. Gonna try to connect it all by rail, thinking an elevated rail to avoid the mobs, with lots of boosters for high speed.

Minecraft Beta 1.3

* Implemented a new lighting engine with the help of MrMessiahs (can be turned off)
* Changed the options around, added a new “Graphics options” button
* Added beds. If all players in a map sleeps in a bed during night, the game immediately skips until morning
* Added three new half-size blocks
* Added Delay/Repeater redstone dust blocks
* Added whitelisting to the server. To use, enter “whitelist <cmd>” where cmd is “on”, “off”, “add <player>”, “remove <player>”, “list” or “reload”
* New save file format, old maps need to be converted (that might take a while..)
* It’s now possible to have more than five save slots, and to rename saves
* Scrollbars in both the texture pack list, and in the map selection screen
* Replaced the Mojang splash image to reflect the new logo colors
* .. and a bunch of bug fixes and tweaks!

Server is running fine.

He's been saying he was going to make updates optional... hopefully he's finally done it so this dance can end with this update.
