I must have done something wrong. I set the no creeper flag for that area when I created it. I used '/region flag circuitcity creeper deny'. The only thing I can think it that I made a typo or forgot it was case sensitive and wound up setting the flag for a region that doesn't exist. I don't think that's the case however. The same thing happened to the minecart launcher by spawn. I'm thinking the command I'm using isn't correct.
I didn't check to see if it was set before I did it. I did check after, so maybe it was wasted effort.
As I understand it they'll pop but not do damage. I haven't tested it anywhere to see if it works.

Yeah it effectively neuters them. The mob damage one protects you from the others. Kind of funny cause the zombies just get up really close and look all emo cause they can't hurt you.

It is just the free nature of the resulting loot. I have no problem with making a monster trap and putting it to use but sitting at it overnight and filling your inventory with loot is no better than us just giving it out. As long as you are there and not just camping it that is fine though.
As was previously mentioned grabbing a bite to eat or run an errand is fine but afk all night is another thing.
I totally passed out in mine, woke up like an hour later and logged out :\

They do hurt like a mofo.
I take it that building a Mob Spawner above Circuit City would be frowned upon, seeing as we just got the protections turned on... right?
