I was going to drop a new map or roll back the server a month but I decided it was too damn much work.

I had to break down and start a strip mining operation for sandstone again 
made it far enough away from my partly desert town so i can't see it from the walls haha.

Yeah leveling so much area for my city in the desert has kept me from having to strip mine. Though I guess technically I am I'm just building over it so you can't tell.

Ill suggest it again:
We need to do something epic. Huge "team project" where people can each contribute in different ways (resource mining, building, etc, etc).
That would get me playing again.

right now I'm working on putting up the walls. then it's to level parts of the town and start building it up again (I think part of the problem with the npc village is the different levels of stuff mess with the npcs. like I took the doors of buildings with ladders and I had a lot less glitching.)
and eventually a giant castle! MUWAHAHAAH

the wall at the ocean now needs a lighthouse (i'm thinking with the new glowstone lamps timed to circle around and around and around would be awesome.)

I went and helped with the ender ender... made snowblocks, brought smooth and cobble and stuffs.
Need to decide what the mega project will be, and then pick a spot and let people know what it needs.
Part if the problem is we all play at different times so need good plans so people always know what needs to be done.
I'd love to see a domed city under the ocean.
But then I spend most of my time working on planting and growing my farms.
