Sneezy you might want to consider the flat out kill floor option or maybe a floor that pistons away and they fall forever...
inbetween them killing me those several times there were several of the enders who managed to heal up in the pens... might be nice to have a "reset" button for the holding pens that clears them...

They don't heal. I re-lit the bottom so when you arrive there won't be any full health ones there due to spawning.
I had one that was full health while I loitered, not sure exactly how he got that way. He may have tp'd as he spawned or fell. But one in 20 mins or so is bearable. I just hit him with bread from the doorway till he died.

1.2.4 Thursday likely.
1.3 will include the Mod API and isn't expected for months yet. But We'll probably keep on getting snapshots so the glitchy mob fixes will probably work their way in.

I hear lots of mobs. 
Silverfish spawner is dead. I got knocked into lava though so I failed to activate the port.
