i wish they would do that with the normal saplings
place 2 together and get big ones.. instead of me having to trick the system and put 4 dirt next to a sapling and waste all that bonemeal

Build a couple new houses in a chunk with a village in it!
see what happens.
Oh and Sneezy did you build a well? has to be 2x10x2
every village has 1.

Ugh ok so mow both of my villages are ghost towns, make sure you wall in a couple of npc's so they can keep breeding without zombies destroying every last one 
Reloaded my map as a new game and did just that, walled in a few villagers. I let most out when day comes, left myself 4 in there and a few of the kids. They breed quickly but with zombie seiges unles syou retain a supply of villagers your town dies out pretty fast.
A couple of things, as long as there is a roof and door it is considered a house to them. They ignore places with iron doors so you can keep your house as yours, just use iron doors on any place you don't want them laying claim to. They also show the hearts bubbling around them to indicate they are breeding so you can verify the deed is done lol (needed when you use my tactic of walling a bunch in).
Been building a slew of houses to see how many I can get villagers into, literally a wood door with a few blocks over head like a roof is all that is needed for them to consider it a house when breeding to fill the village... I've been doing that a bit to replenish my numbers. They will pour into one place if they are near it when night hits rather than boot it for their own places, some for some reason will haul ass back out of there and go to a different place... possibly overcrowding ai twitch? |

They need to have a couple villages become "brave" and equip iron armor with sword and go to town methinks

Hopefully the new Lamps won't cause too much of a performance downgrade... Not sure if my friend will be happy... about a month ago he created a light switch using pistons... would take a regular block and rotate it out for a lightstone block.

Hopefully they've fixed the bug where blocks don't update if a light source is removed...

Yup! Added lamps to my zombies.
They are opaque when off too, so no worries about light leaking from the wiring side.
