cause you can import parts of old maps right? I had a friend who made a town in creative single player and then brought just the town to multiplayer survival...

The patch broke me being able to get to this server but not others. Weird.

I really really would not like to start over again...
I wandered into the 1 world for a little while...
Then we had the new world... and that was ok...
Then we had this world...
I like the mine around my house, even if I am to scared to explore it very much...
I slowly get stuff done and get built up...
do not want start over again...

that's why sneezy said they could copy parts of the old map to the new one if necessary for the new biomes.
I'm in the same boat, I don't care about my mines since I haven't really been looking for non common minerals just sand sandstone and cobblestone. But I would hate to lose my castle I'm building. 
Don't worry though I'm sure we will get it all sorted out heh.

yes if you were modded you should delete the old stuff, also switch back to default textures

Someone on reddit has already posted an alternate method, basically what I was thinking of. No cut and paste needed.
It'll result in weird edges on new terrain, but that's the same prob with cut and past too.

Anyone else notice how much the Ender Men resemble the Slender Man?
They're both very tall with long arms.
