Just go looking through chests... nobody will mind.
I went through wra7hch1ld's chests, cause he had given me some before, but on the way I came across some items that either he had died with or something cause they just popped into my inventory... so I dropped them off in the chest he labeled random. haha. (obviously didn't take anything, he didn't give me permission this time. )
Edit: I was just bored and didn't want to go mine anything so I went wandering over to his place.)

Are you playing on an updated server or still using 1.0? I logged in using 1.0. Got blown up along with my bed and can't get back because the nether portal isn't working anymore.

Ouch. Portals should be working fine though.
We are still running 1.0 but it looks like there is a dev version of bukkit out and stable for 1.1 so I think I will make this move soon. I'll be adding the security/admin stuff back too when I do the update so we can have private chests and properties and whatnot again.

OK 1.1 is up with a dev version of bukkit and a couple security plugins. Still configuring everything and checking stability but at the very least it works and sheep are eating grass and growing wool now, lol.

I wasn't logged in (as far as I remember) at any time near the server crash.
I definitely wasn't moving around those random items at any 1 time either.
Someone had to have taken the items.

that sucks arek, if you want I can lead you to some of the diamonds I found (I have no use for them for a long long long time.)

I appreciate all the offers, but I would really just like to find out what happened for now. I don't know if Steel is able to see what I had on a previous backup and spawn those items or what... I really don't want to take other people's stuff.
