Easiest way imo is just to drown them all. Should be simple enough if they are near by. If you want xp off them thats a little trickier.

I added some stations along the nether rail, one for Sneezy and me, Desert Retreat, Steelwind, Miner Catastrophy and Spawn. I tested them, and they seem to behave, but I consider those stations a draft version, just getting the ball rolling really, if they should be changed then do what you gotta do. eridyn got his leg of the rail finished and generously donated more rail and powered rail to the project. I've added a switch between eridyn and cubbie, and cubbie's bit isn't completed yet. The return trip from either one of those places doesn't stop at the switch, it continues to the spawn station. The rail goes underneath WhiteRaven's path so it doesn't cut across his path.
The station for Spawn doesn't actually go right to spawn of course but it's close, and the remainder of the rail circumnavigates the spawn point.
The switch wasn't complicated, so all those folks in the direction opposite to cubbie/eridyn could definitely be connected to the rail even if they branch off.
Pigmen like to ride minecarts.
Somebody is making some pretty amazing circular thing with legs out in the middle of nowhere.
I added torches, hope that wasn't unwanted. I just died a few times from mobs while checking it out and I figured light would help reduce the mobs.

The crazy circular thing is Steel's artwork. 
I like the rail stations, noticed that this morning.
I finished the towers at my house. Exterior only of course, who ever does interiors?
