Steel,
I would just like to thank you for all the work you put into the server, keeping it maintained and doing awesome things like finding us map stuff. I really appreciate it and enjoy playing on the server alot!

Glad to hear it! Minecraft wouldn't have lasted this long for me if I couldn't get my geek fix out of it and didn't get to play on an active server with other fun people.

Finally decided what to do about the dirt.
Curtain control is at the base of the ladder now too.

Very cool island, monster trap, farm and mine/ravine.
Zoom.it is really amazing software to be able to smoothly handle that large pic like that.

The hard part isn't handling the map it is the conversion... it takes a long damn time. Still think I can automate it if it comes to that. For right now though I'm trying to get Tectonicus to work. It has problems with Ubuntu 11.04 but I might be able to work around it.

OK the wiki said it doesn't run on Ubuntu 11.04... I said challenge accepted, lol. Got it working. Running tests now. Looks like the initial run is a long one but it hashes the chunks so only has to update what changes from there on out. Still need to do testing (running a long one now) but think I can get it to run with Misa's texture pack and some other tweaks to make a nice map for us.

anyways I found an abandoned mineshaft while digging, lots of iron and coal and just found some gold, and a cave spider spawner and a skeleton spawner right next to each other.

I decided to prune my SP map back to just my base and let it regen with 1.9 pre 2 engine. Then I went and collected animals. No 6k ocean trip this time.
I'll be on the server soon though.
