A man had seen a girl in a red scarf at the subway station every day while commuting to work.
He thought she was very attractive, but was too shy to speak with her while they waited for the train.
Then one day she stopped coming to the train station and he thought he had lost his chance to meet her.
Everyday for week's he waited and looked for her at the station hoping to see her, but she just wasn't there anymore.
So he decided he'd take drastic action in an attempt to find her.
Every week he bought dozens of Billboard spaces around the city and each week they had a different message addressed to the "red scarf girl".
The first week was "Girl in the red scarf at Corona station, i haven't seen you in week's, i wish i had spoken with you".
The Billboard included a contact number and he surely got his share of prank calls.
Months passed and one woman who thought it was very romantic, took out some Billboard spaces too, it read "Hello prince charming, i'm not the "girl in the red scarf" but i could be".
After months of trying and many different messages he finally got to meet with the "red scarf girl" again.
This is a true story.
Love is out there, if you're not too shy to do something about it.
