I would capture it and make it fight another beast.
My bro and I shared an apartment back in the 80's down in San Diego. We had caught a really cool centipede and had it in an aquarium. Then I caught a big ass tarantula. So we decided to have a little party and put them in the same aquarium for a fight to the death. Was an awesome battle.
The tarantula bit the centipede in half but the upper half of the centipede lived on to eventually kill the tarantula.
But we are the same guys that kept a rattlesnake in an aquarium in our living room and would have parties when we fed it. We would bet on how long it took the poison to take down the mouse we tossed in there...
We've apparently hung out some time ago. Do you keep a pyramid of beer cans?

 No, actually lived in San Marcos at the time, right near Escondido. Apartment complex on San Marcos Blvd and Pico.
