It's a foot in the door toward change. If not now. When? If both parties were mature and worked together it is something that could happen and be good. It's very much like the Heritage foundations plan they came up with (that is the guru of conservative think tanks). But since the socialist communist Nazi African from Kenyan is involved. It's all just bad now.
The tea party (errrr billionaire Koch Brothers) are even attacking moderate republicans to put their people in with the unlimited donations and Super PACS... The American system of democracy is being hijacked. And We The People are on the loosing end.

And this is why not enough is getting done. it is more important to these people to make Obama fail than help the American people or economy. The ONLY thing the republicans have done pretty much is protect tax cuts for the wealthy.

Republicans have become a terrible joke. At least when I was younger and Reagan was president, they weren't so incredibly stupid. The past decade or so, they have become such utter morons.

Exactly. With Reagan, true conservatism was a valid argument against liberal philosophy. Today's Republican party seems like a clown show either using fear mongering tactics or wanting to return to the dark ages.
Obamacare doesn't go far enough-but it is a step in the process. This is post 2000 people-nobody should be denied healthcare or go bankrupt seeking medical care.
System is complex, so I do not understand totally how it all works, but I heard if the Supreme Court overturns Obamacare regarding the individual mandate--than ironically, it would likely speed up the probably that we would wind up going to a single payer system.
