While I may tend to agree with you or would have at some time you have to face facts that it is a game and things change. What hasn't changed is the community which is what we here on the boards are all about. Thanks for bringing so much to these boards with what I'm sure are 91 posts of the utmost quality.

That depends on the forum, I've seen some forums being way overmodded and I just hope IGN is professional and goes by the rules.
I can't see why a forum would need 100+ mods but I can see posters getting fed up with being micromanaged.

Let me be more specific. Users will not be able to get away with taunting mods there like they do here.
I'm not speaking of playful banter but say a poster that doesn't like an edit and re-posts something and calls out the mod. I would prefer a warning over a ban but the mod on IGN wont think twice about a ban. Public and private harassment for example wont be escalated to a manager. The mod will just do what needs to be done to put a stop to it.

Yes because quantity = quality. Eliminate the trolls, +1,  , etc. and most post counts would be 1/10 of what they are.

Like all things there are positives and negatives to the ign boards...personally I've never had an issue with them but I mostly posted on the sports boards....the Vesti however is a whole different animal.....Beib gonna send you a pm later today with some threads that need to be saved just gotta track couple of them down
