I didn't even consider either of the casters having purge.

I don't understand how an Eld couldn't QC nearsight/mez the sorc before dying. Even if the sorc purges one, they still have time to get some distance and kite while the bard's mez fades (which doesn't take long with their mez reduc buff).

I mean, worst case scenario the Chanter gets attacked first, but again, the chanter can just quickcast stun and get some distance. Like you said, not many people in CV have purge, so I highly doubt the sorc would have greater than purge 1.

This is all assuming that the bard let the sorc get the jump on them, which is another indicator of lack of attention.

1. 3 people supposedly panning somehow let ONE person panning see them before they see him?
2. A single person coming at you at an incredibly slower pace gets the jump on you?
3. Bards should never lose to a sorc in a 1v1 head on mez war, let alone with an eld backing the bard up with nearsight.
