The thing is if they wanted to nerf AOE, then why give Shaman's earthquake in the first place. Give us a cool new AOE spell, and then nerf the damage right out of the gate.
If you don't want us to AOE anymore, give me something worth while using. I was very amazed that in an expansion where Blizzard wants to get back to the good old days of using CC and slowing down the instance runs to be more deliberate, they make the elememental 31 point talent to be an AOE.
Why not give us a nice powerful single target spell that will be worth using in Cat. If we truely have to CC and stuff, then sudddenly our 31 point talent doesnt even make it on my bar cause nobody is going to want us to use it.
