Glyphed for +10% and talented for +10%
Someone lol'd at me for using Renew as a Disc priest, why?
PW:Shield + Penance + Renew + Flash Heal are like....the only spells I use and I'm kinda pro

Before 4.0.1 patch it was a waste of a cd that could have been used on a bubble, PoM, or Penance. It was simply a poor use of your because everything else was better. I haven't played my priest since the patch all that much so can't tell you if any thing has changed. I would imagine since you can now spec into Renew the value of it has increased dramatically.

Who the hell lol'ed at you for it?!
Shield and Mending before pull, penance and renew afterward. Rarely ever use anything else.
Flash Heal macro'ed with Inner Focus for a free heal when rarely needed, and Prayer of Healing also macro'ed with Inner Focus when rarely needed.
If we have anything else in our arsenal, I rarely use it in 5 man runs.
Renew crits making more bubbles ftw.

I use it all the time since 4.0 hit. Not exactly sure why you wouldn't now given the current state.
