...and in this thread people are freaking out over something that is fixed as simply as toggling self cast off and on. I've had this keybound since it was an option in the ummm....options panel. What am I missing?

Umm, I think you're confused about what that macro does.

@mouseover says basically whatever I have my mouse hovered over cast the current spell on it. You don't have to click anything at all, you can mouse over the body of the person, or their tag in grid, or their party frame, and it would cast the spell on them associated with that @mouseover macro.

The Holy: Chastise spell is the damaging spell when not in a chakra state, but when you are in a chakra state, it does something completely different and acts as a beneficial healing spell. The macro in that thread is actually really useful for a holy priest and it would cast the damage spell when not in the Chakra state, but when in the Chakra state it would cast the beneficial spell associated with the chakra state that the Holy:Chastise turns into as long as you had it on your bar twice (don't ask me why). Thus, this turns 4 buttons into 2. The thread is complaining that the patch causes this macro to not work, and therefore if you want to use one of the beneficial spells, you need to have them on your bar or something. Not sure if they show up in the spellbook.

Yeah, I only heal on my priest has holy, and that was an awesome macro because it didn't matter which chakra state you went into, the beneficial spell would stay in the same spot on your action bars.

I hope they fix it, otherwise they need to come up with a better way to macro that out or no one will use them. They are "neat" kind of like Tree form for druids at the moment, but not terribly useful imo.

Not familiar with druid spells, but I assume the answer is yes. Holy priests have a talent spell called Chakra, when they are in this state the spell Holy: Chastise turns into one of three different spells depending on which of the three healing spells chakra states you're in.

Gotcha! Yeah I haven't played the druid a lot, but basically Moonfire now morphs back and forth between Sunfire depending where on the Lunar bar you are.
