Oh yeah, I don't mind starting again from level 1. It actually may be a lot of fun post-Cataclysm with the revised low level content.
I just don't want to pay for WoW & BC if possible.
It also seems like $40 + $15/month should be enough money for anyone to play the game, but maybe I'm not being a good Capitalist.  |

Actually this is true. When I reopned my account they had to search for it because I didn't have a battle.net account when I quit and I couldn't remember my password or what I needed to do to set it up. Gave them my old user name, my CD keys and about a million other questions to verify I was who I said I was...
"And.. what is your WoTLK CD key?"
"..I never purchased Wrath."
"..uh..you..well..its on your account."
"I'm telling you I never purchased wrath.."
"Ok well you've got a free copy of Wrath of the Lich King on your account then.. if you log in and characters and things are not in the same place you left them you can let us know and we'll do our best to restore your account to what it was.."

WoW Battle Chest - $10 (classic + BC) (Blizzard store)
WOTLK - $10 (Blizzard store) -- fixed price typo
Then add Cata ($40), and you are good to go. $60 total
