City Rep Tabards |
Yep - they work on getting you rep for whatever city faction you are using. I ran through the second half of Strat, killed everything and got about 1800 rep. On a side note, the Ardent Crusaders that show up at the end is pretty cool too.
Not mount drop though =P

Just an FYI: They do not work in BC dungeons for this, as those dungeons already give rep for BC factions. I don't think they work in Northrend dungeons either(according to a guildy)
Am I just being stoopid and it's already confirmed that just old world dungeons give tabard rep and I missed it?

Ill run through a few dungeons and see myself. Strangely in Strath you get Ardent rep if you dont wear the tabard. If its on, the rep is converted to whatever city rep the tabard is. Im surprised this isnt the case in BC dungeons.

This is a bug we will be hotfixing in the very near future. The city tabards should currently work in old Azeroth dungeons (as well as Cataclysm 80-85 dungeons when the expansion is released). The hotfix will make it so these tabards work for Heroic and normal Northrend dungeons, however, there are no plans as of yet to apply this change to Outland dungeons.

City quartermasters. They seem to be located near the flightpaths in most of the cities.

Realized they were bugged pretty quickly last night. I had bought all 3 of the available ones at Org and tried them all in Northrend 5 man Heroics without getting a single point. But hey, a couple of them look good at least

Fixed now, was getting 300 rep per boss and ~15-30 rep per trash mob in heroics.

Horde can get the Goblin tabard in Org and yes, you can get the Goblin mounts right now if you get Exalted.
