On the Countdown to Cataclysm, Blizzard sent to me...
Eleven Zones Sundered
There were many zones that were changed by the Shattering but some were more drastically changed than others. The Barrens and Stranglethorn Vale were completely split in two. Darkshore looks a lot more like howling fjord with all the rivers cutting into it now. And the giant tornado. Ashenvale has a brand new volcano jutting up in the middle of it and let's not forget the new beachfront property in Thousand Needles and Tanaris. What zone changes do you like the most? Which ones are making you cry because Blizzard ruined your favorite zone?

I generally like all the changes, they are all for the better.
The only zone I'm really sad about is Loch Modan which looked way better before the change.

How many zones actually got changed? Only two zones I've been in so far are the tauren and undead starting zones and they haven't changed at all.

I ran through the Draeni area and didnt notice anything significantly changed at all.

Figures, I just start playing the game 2 months ago in a serious fashion and once I start learning where everything is, and the quests, they go and nuke the planet.  |

The way 1000 Needles looks is pretty neat, especially the gigantic Whale Shark corpse. Travelling around it is an abomination though, twenty minutes swimming from one end to the other and no way back up.

Do the quests on the speed barge for your very own boat that you can use whenever you're in the zone.

I went into Zul Gurub and it is pretty much intact just nothing in it but a few level one snakes, it is kind of a huge waste of space now.
