Had more than one group with a hunter who had a monkey pet. It is like having a Pandaren Monk pet on speed, constant spam of noise.

Who wouldn't want to fling poo at their enemies?

I've heard the new foxes are getting groups killed as well. Apparently they chase randomly after mice in dungeons.

It would be nice to have an option to kill pet, for times when the pet goes running off in a dungeon without being told to even on passive.

This is true for any pet with an area effect. The effect also hits critters in range. The critter runs off while the party and pet kills the mobs. Afterwards, the pet will chase down the critter no matter where it runs and no matter what else the pet aggros.

It's a bug noticed since beta, yet went live regardless.

Yep. I was soloing a quest in a cave crawling with scorpions (the little pest ones), and I couldn't get out of combat until I turned off my pet's one AE skill. That quest also had some critter spawning something that was a death head level to me, and I couldn't kill.

No, Foxes will randomly kill any critter around. They do it as their #1 priority, and ignore their masters commands. It's a stupid bug, if it is one.

If that's true, it also sounds intentional. Still, I suspect the tail swipe, but I'll test it again tomorrow.
