I could probably list the 3,000 most useless achievements, as they are all useless except for the 2 or 3 that give you a mount.

those simple ones are how they draw you in to the sick twisted world of caring about achievements. u get a pat on the head for every little thing then u get sad once it stops so u start doing crazy shit to regain that feeling of reward.

They are all equally pointless in my book. If I really wanted to bust out some cheevos to feel toughguy about, I'd be hipchecking my copy of Demon's Souls into platinum land on my PS3, but hey, more power to the achivement hunters out there.

I dislike all the achievements that are about quantity and investment, some of those listed being among the chief perpetrators. "Achievements" should be the kinda goofy and fun ones, like the voids in Oculus or the holiday stuff, and can be challenging or fun and always optional. I disagreed with their Children's Week one on the list, even though I am a PvPer and understand that it is disruptive to BGs when people are trying to do them, but once a year... Novelty keeps things interesting.
