I can't believe people missed the phenomenon that was Dead Wood.
I mean, a western (with more violence that you could shake a stick at), with Shakespearean style dialog, only with every 3rd word starting with the letter F....
And chicks with hairy armpits...
And yet, it kept us enthralled all the way to the bitter end.
Definitely worth getting the DVD's if you missed it.

There was an outcry when it was announced it would end at season 3. It was explained that the 3 seasons basically covered the entire history of the town.

Yeah, I ended up reading the actual history because of the show, the whole town burned to the ground and everyone ended up exactly where you thought they would lol.
