Alright, so we have several deep and serious philosophical threads going... here's a pointless one for fun.

What interesting thing did you do this week in WoW, and what interesting / strange / unusual / boring things do you plan to do before Tuesday's release of Cataclysm?

This week - I helped one of my guild members (she's now finally level 79 on her first character after 3+ years!!) improve her Moonkin DPS, and I got to heal a couple runs for her to see how excited she was to improve and calling for meters after every boss.

This weekend - well I'm hoping some of your posts will inspire me!

Yikes, this isn't going to be one you will like, but something I've had fun doing is going through some of the old raids. My guild will sometimes smash through MC and BWL to get those achieves, we also recently did Black Temple.

I didn't get up to that raiding level in BC it was a treat to see that encount and killing one of the major raid bosses. I won't get to see the Lich King dies before Cata but I'll make a point of seeing it once I'm 85.

That Lil'Ragnaros pet just came out, most players don't even know who is he. He is a great looking boss, and a pretty fun fight.

I like this thread.

Let's see:

Went out exploring with hubby through most of the Old-world zones (20 mins and 30 mins at a time-which doesn't let you see much!) That's alliance side.

Planning to do the same Horde side.

Created a spreadsheet of my four accounts, which characters, how much gold, what heirloom gear they have so I know where to roll new classes and which ones can get epic flight (YES! I'm A NERD! )

Spent 3 hours and 5 mins getting a talbuk last night for my poor poor Draenei pally (ugly ugly elekk charger replacement)

Went through and cleaned up all my vaults, reforged, re-gemmed all my 80's (listen with 13, that's not mouse-nuts!)

Ran through Stockades and said hi to Hogger! <giggles>

OOh, and this weekend, my guild OUGHT to do something incredibly awesomely silly in WoW..... I'm looking for ideas, please!

There are those who play tank classes, and those that tank.

Couple of my guild members have been doing really old raids like that as well, and they seem to enjoy themselves.

I actually have not personally seen Rag, do you think perhaps I should tag along? Is it cool to see?

lol

Even though you are across four accounts, you might find these useful if you aren't already using them. They won't eliminate your spreadsheet but you might like them in game.

TitanPanel (shows me how much gold each of my chars has)

BankItems http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1021053513

Shows me all the stuff in all the banks (and gold again), plus adds counts of who and how many for every item I have on any character to the item tooltip.

I like them a lot having so many alts I can't possibly remember all the stuff I have.

You are a better woman than I ...

I still haven't done the housecleaning of characters that I should. DK still unspecced even

Depending how many people you have I think it would be funny to all put on tuxedos (wedding dresses for ladies if you prefer) and go into BGs as a big group. Then attempt to have a dinner party (put out the multi player cakes / other fun items, etc) in the middle of WSG or at the BS in AB.

Yeah I'd say he is cool to see. MC for sure it pretty easy if you have some 80's going, just for the sight seeing. Its fun to look around and see what people ran 40 mans through, lol.

Rag is an awesome fight, if a bit simple.

This week I deleted my dranny shaman (I can't stand the female butt wiggle when running!) and re-rolled as a dwarf shaman. Leveled up to 63. LOVED the new content although it was lacking in challenges. WPL, EPL, and Badlands were my favorite zones but I haven't done Kalimdor yet and I've heard good things about it.

This weekend I plan to be boring and clean out all my banks. I also need to decide which toon is getting the axe to make room for a worgen. Probably my dwarf hunter now that I have a dwarf shaman. I also need to find Deathwing and stand in the stupid fire for that stupid FoS achievement! *twitch*

Oh I also plan on running around with Rill and piling up new screenshots to use for my next Where in WoW is Rill contest.

Edit: And since I'm gonna hang out in major cities for a bit I usually start a hide and seek game with guildmates. Give gold to the first person to find me in the city. Tracking is cheating and I give clues every couple minutes.
