I recently leveled a Shaman to 80. I learned my first aid up to max, but every time I was doing it I just felt that I was wasting cloth. Not that it is all that valuble anyway, but I have yet to actually USE a bandage. Now as a healing class this may have something to do with it.

Now I am leveling a pally, as a tank, but again with the ability to heal. Am I going to miss First Aid if I don't level it? I am thinking about just throwing all the cloth up on the AH and not bothering with it.

The bandages in Cat I think work differently, I forget how, or if they even stuck with the idea but I remember them not sucking like the Wrath ones did.

On the other hand, most classes have ways to heal themselves now so it seems kinda unneccesary.

since the ability to rep up with cities using cloth was removed, why not?

I'll admit, I haven't used a bandage since the last patch. But, I still leveled up first-aid. Call it a safety call, yet I wouldn't deny myself an additional tool that could save my life . . . especially in PvP.

Just something to consider.

For the last year or so it's become an afterthought that gets lvl'd once I hit 80. I typically keep a stack of bandaids on all my char's, even the healers. Ya never know.

That is not completely accurate. Sometimes Arc, you do know.

I still use FA when I'm leveling new alts. All of my characters have FA, even the healers, and yes there were times running PuGS in LK where I needed to either bandage myself or another player when I was on a non-healing class.

There are those who play tank classes, and those that tank.
The weapon is only as good as the person wielding it.
