I was just wondering which one of the following classes have biggest chance of being picked in groups/raids : Hunter,mage,warlock,rogue,druid.

druid

If that's what you're basing your choice on, druid is correct. They can fill basically any role: ranged dps, melee dps, tank, or healer.

Tank > Healer > DPS

That's the order of who is most needed, for the most part. Whatever class you choose will fall into one or more of those categories. WoW isn't so much about "what class to bring" anymore, as any class can perform their roll well.

I agree with Druid (and Paladin), as they can fill any of those jobs. You have more choices with one character, if versatility is yo thang.

I told myself I HAD to make worgen and now when I run little lore check, worgen druid seems like best choice for gaming and roleplaying. Thanks everybody for being such awesome help. Now just to find good RP or RP/PVP server and I am set

First, I'd check out US Data Centers for WoW, and choose an RP realm whose data center is closest to you.

As far as RP Realms go:

Moon Guard has the most roleplay, but some feel TOO much (some odd erotic roleplay and all that jazz.) Also the realm is always full.

Wyrmcrest Accord has a healthy roleplay population on both sides, and I THINK it's the newest RP realm to open up.

I've played on Scryers, Sentinels, Steamwheedle Cartel, Earthen Ring, and Kirin Tor. Of them all, Sentinels has always been my favorite for nice people, both alliance and horde, and the balance between the two factions is pretty even.

I know nothing about the RP-PVP scene, so can't help you there.

If you decide to roll Alliance on Sentinels, shoot a /w to my main character, Luke. I'd be happy to help ya out any way I can.

There is no doubt you want a worgen druid (since you're alliance, bleh)


You will not be disappointed with the class.


And when you come to your sense and switch to horde, you can be a goblin, tauren, or troll (and trolls get bat for flight form)
