Regarding the digital download, yeah I should have done that. When I originally ordered it, I hadn't realised that (1) the discs were unnecessary; (2) the use of the disks was inadvisable as it would move your install backwards.

I have actually digitally downloaded now, so I'm just gonna send it back to Amazon when (if?) the box ever arrives.

Regarding the weather checks, yes there is more snow in London now. But there hasn't been any snow in a week, and the postal services still hadn't managed to deliver. Who knows what it must be like for those who live outside London, where they're still using horses and carts and stuff like that ;-)

I thought this was the case for the entirety of the UK. Glad to hear that London has progressed. Those steam carts sure are nice.

Alright, alright, obviously not all of London is beyond horse and cart, but some parts are. We're slowly hitting the 20th century, you know.


Anyway, we can just pull the Queen out, put her in a horse and cart, pretend it's deliberately retrogressive, and nobody is any the wiser.

I didn't think it snowed much in London. The gulf stream is suppose to keep you warm and comfy.
