Next Expansion, what do you want? |
Its that time. Blizzard will no doubt start working on the next expansion after the holidays.
So its time to ask, what next?
Tell me what you want to see in the next expansion (2012?)?
Me I have 2 big requests that I absolutely want to see:
1 - Two new classes (this is long overdue regardless of the arguments some will make against it)
2 - A ton more options for making our characters unique looking. Dyes, ways to tinker armor, and more options at creation. Its time to add this to the game.

- Massive engine enhancements or replacement. It's really starting to show its age, especially while doing more dynamic, context sensitive tasks during quests. And even at the highest settings their very creative asset designers just can't mask the ugly textures and simplistic models.
Keep the art style of course, it's great and has demonstrated that it had legs. But them legs done worn out.
- A few new classes to keep things fresh
- How about some more inter-dimensional and maybe even some interstellar travel. Into other realms and such, flex the lore and move the story vastly forward. Just go crazy with it. I'm sure they could even enhance their phasing tech to do some of this for them.

More reasons to quest at max level
Changing appearance of armor to another type of armor
New looks for the BG
More BG types

There will most likely be a new continent.
My guess is emerald dream.
And demon hunter as a class.

I really wish they'd add necromancers ala Diablo II. . . .

Asking what I want not what I'd expect
Emerald Dream
Illusionist class (I want another type of caster)
WotLK style world outdoors (large open feel, seamless (no phases))
More 5 and 10 man content (TBC style except done with correct gear progession - not the backwards 10man to do 5man they did)
More character slots per account

.
TBD (this is top of head list and I reserve the right to want more! - especially when I'm currently not in a creative mood)

Some type of revamp to how the game works in whatever new area they put it in.
Come 2012, I don't think I will be able to handle the same old stuff we have done for 6 years with different paint.
