why is it that when i try to vote kick someone while in a dungeon finder group, it tells me i can't kick x player for x number of minutes. but 2 seconds later another person was able to initiate a vote kick against that same person?
can the leader try to kick anyone no matter what?
it's happened many times...i always get the can't vote kick message, but someone else is able to start the vote.

You're using it too often, try being more understanding and work with people instead of rage kicking them.

no its for trollers. like when someone joins but is unsatisfied with the group, so they just teleport out but refuse to disband (to avoid deserter buff i assume).
or for the "heroic pvpers" who join a group just to make the group wipe on purpose, etc.
i am always unable to start a kick vote but someone else is able to...wondering why

Every player has their own DF rating which influences their ability to kick. The fewer times you kick players and the more often you complete dungeons the higher your rating and the fewer restrictions you have on initiating kicks.

I think there are two timers that can cause this. As Arc mentioned if you have recently kicked another player, it won't let you kick a second player with in a certain amount of time.
Also I believe there is a timer so that if said player has recently been kicked from a different dungeon, queues up and joins yours, he/she can't be kicked again right away...

I have NEVER run into either of the players you just described...
Not saying they don't exist, because I'm absolutely positive they do lol. Just saying it's news to me that people are doing that stuff.

This would certainly seem to be counter-productive.

ok well that explains it, ty.
your first post got me thinking...but i rarely do vote kicks.
however i OFTEN leave a group when i don't have enough time left to play. that must be why my vote kick timer is so high
