Ok, it's a bug. Or something. Have aguildie who can't see the rare or epic drops from dungeons. He can see them randomly. He also can't see all the JP gear. If you roll need on a piece for him and then try to give it to him it say "Loading item info" and he can't see it, or get the item.
Yeah cache has been dumped, WTF has been deleted, all addons and UI have been turned off, disabled updated, yada yada. He's done everything he can think of so far to fix it. No luck. anyone else have this problem? How'd you fix it? DID you fix it?

Everything I would suggest, it sounds like he has already done. Might have to do a completely fresh install?

Ouch.
Was this in one instance run or one "session"?
I had the similar problem with my druid the other day, for about a 30 mins. Couldn't see loot. When I did, and tried to DE, I lost mats because I couldn't loot them either. Everything was "loading info". Logged out and it cleared up. The only addon I am running right now is Omen.
That probably doesn't help. (I do remember have this same problem briefly in TBC and thinking it was something going on at Blizz's end.)

I had this problem once.
reloudui fixed it every time.
I noticed when I got no roll or windows for boss mob loot. I thought people weren't looting LOL.
I traced it back to X-perl btw.

Delete your WoW cache folder. In some cases, under Vista and Seven, deleting the folder in your WoW folder is not enough, cache is also in the data store.

Is he using Dominos for his bar interface?
And does he have the Dominos Loot Bar installed?
If so, there is the problem.

One of those solutions might help...but I do find it...odd....that Blizzard is doing nothing to address this problem.

Why? If you have to try and get that loot drop again, that means more time played, which potentially means more money for them.
