That was quick. I've already played through the tutorials, but will do so with a worgen again and voice my feedback here afterward.
Seriously though, it's crazy they're giving it away so soon.

I thought it was quick too, so I went back and looked at past trials:
The trial for BC came out 4 months after release.
The trial for WoTLK came out 1 month after release.
The trial for Cataclysm came out 1 week after release.
Draw your own conclusions.

My conclusion is they are getting faster at doing stuff they've done many times before.  Maybe next expansion they'll have the trial ready at the same time or just have a continuous trial available forever. They are always going to want new players to try the game so why not have it from day 1 and forever? (with appropriate limits on what a trial person can do to reduce abuse for spam, etc).

That's a good thing, as i want to try the free Cataclysm in few days. 7 free days is nice to see if i can start to play WoW again.
