Hunter's also have Wyvern Sting and Scatter Shot depending on spec.
You can also Enslave a demon and there's Mind Control too.

i wouldn't call scatter shot CC, its duration is too short.

Trap - anything, usually. Hunter
Hex - any humanoid/beast Shaman
Bind Elemental - Elemental Shaman
Polymorph - any humanoid/beast Mage
Sap - any humanoid, some beasts (dunno why) Rogue
Repentance - any humanoid Ret Paladin
Fear - anything, glyphed to be useful (rooted fear) Warlock
Banish - Elemental / Demon Warlock
Sleep - Beasts / Drake / Dragonkin Druid
Shackle - Undead Priest
Roots - Any Melee Druid (debatable)

I would consider it "soft" crowd control like a pally's Hammer of Justice. It keeps the mobs off for a short duration, however that can sill make a difference. If you get adds and the tank doesn't have agro on everything for example, scatter shot can get the mob off the healer for a few seconds.
There's the solid immobilizing CC like the trapping, sleeping, banishing stuff but there's also the soft stuff, that while short can still make a difference if used properly.
/shrug Would I consider it basic everyday CC? No. Would I consider it skilled help if used properly? You bet!

matter of interpretation then  the 4 second duration on scattershot is so short its over almost as soon as its begun so i consider it more of an interrupt utility in pve.

Priests have Psychic Scream and Psychic Horror as well as a Silence.
psychic horror and silence are pvp talents...probably very few pve shadow priests will have those in their specs.(plus their cool downs are annoyingly too long to make it worth taking them in the first place)

Is there a place where I can read up on Mind Control? I've never been able to use it effectively but it seems like it would be useful in areas like Hyjal.
