Around 8k while leveling. Herbs go for crazy amounts.

Even after getting four professions to near max (two are) I have added forty or so my total. I have purchased 310 flight for a few and 280 for others I skipped during this time as well. Like, what is there to spend it on? I sell all blues from pre 85... it is silly to buy any.

Started at 230k
After Insane in the Membrane for a guildie, getting burned gambling on Waterlogged recipes, flying skills for alts, and leveling 5 professions...
about 10k now? Yeah that's about right I think

I give all my gold away to players that need it, those level 1 characters standing next to a mailbox with absurd names. They really need the help.

Made? I've never been a fan of trying to figure out how to get the maximum amount of gold for everything I do, create, or farm.
So, on my druid, I had about 9k in gold at the start of Cata. He now has 20k in gold from doing the quests in all the zones, and from selling the items he didn't use or want. I've only spent a little gold buying some items and I have not enchanted anything yet. My DK had about 8k in gold and currently sits on about 18-19k, and is in the same boat regarding gear enchants. Both are sitting on an ilvl of mid 320's and neither has seen a heroic yet.
Druid has alchemy and just got to 525 this last week and sold just 1 truegold xmute for 150g, and has herbalism but hasn't sold a single flower to make money. DK has mining and skinning and has only sold a little of the leather and a few bars.
Now, all that said, I can see why some of the people on my server sell the 359 gear at the prices they do -- they must feel that everyone is sitting on 100k+ in gold and can therefore afford the 30k to 50k for each piece of gear.

Actually, no, they just feel that someone is sitting on 100k+ in gold and can therefore afford the 30k to 50k for each piece of gear. You only need one customer to make a sale.

Sitting on 180k atm. Sold a tsunami card for 45k yesterday. Horde Mal'Ganis has a lot of deep pockets. I'd have more, but I decided to just buy mats to level all of my professions and bought the 310 flight training for all of my alts.
