Is Wow down? |
Im getting the "Launcher cannot obtain patching information.." message when I try to log my client and the WoW site is down. I didnt see any notes on maintenance today. Did I miss it?

I don`t know myself right now since I am not at home, but whenever there is a hotfix or something like that, my firewall asks me if I am allowed to let the newly edited .exe through. If I don´t hit the button or miss it somehow, wow will be blocked.
What region (and server) are you connecting to? Maybe somebody here is in that zone of yours too

There's something about Tuesdays but I can't seem to recall...what was that now hmmm...past 5 years...morning...Tuesday...nothing coming to me.

Tried the game directly and while I get a log in screen it cannot connect.

Verified - WoW is down.
It's like we're in a beta or something...

got the same message Krieg...i had to go into my program files and launch WoW from there, to realize that its down.

That message does throw me off too...usually you can log in past that and get the empty server screens.
