below freezing in the morning in sunny California reminds me why I'm not in Boston anymore.

Or Denver for that matter.

Although it's fun watching the neighbors do the barefoot-newpaper-grab-dance!

Don't worry I am still here in Boston for you. Up to my eyeballs, literally in snow. Yesterday was awesome, on top of the like 6+ feet of snow we have, it started raining. So I am out there trying to shovel water off my sidewalk down the tunnel that is the sidewalk from my front door to my drive way before it froze into a skating rink. The sidewalk has 4 foot+ piles of frozen snow on either side and nowhere for the water to drain to.

It took us 30 minutes for my wife to drive me the 1 mile from my house to the T station for me to catch the train into the city thanks to a City bus that managed to get stuck kitty-corner across the side street near my house.

Oh gawd, I feel for you. I vividly remember those 6 foot tunnels from front door to garage, getting the downhill driveway shoveled, including the 10 foot pile of debris the snowplows always left at both corners of the driveway (corner house).

And you can't stay home because that's normal!

Nobody used the weather as an excuse for more playtime?

There are those who play tank classes, and those that tank.
The weapon is only as good as the person wielding it.
Free advice is often worth what you pay for it: nothing.

Being from Florida, I can honestly say, "What's snow?"

I grew up in Florida and actually saw snow twice. Both times it melted about 3 feet before hitting the ground. Now I live in Washington state and absolutely love it...though we have zero snow atm, it all melted

Currently in the MMO unemployment line.
Can I get $15/month for not playing them?

Funniest thing that I heard from some friends this week ... "I wouldn't drive through 6 inches of snow to get to work, but I'd drive through a blizzard for an epic powder day on the mountain."

"Sometimes new is fun and fun is the point. Will it still be fun once it's not new? I hope so, but I honestly don't know."
"Shared danger is a crap load of fun."

Nice...we had the ice in Dallas and now it's time for 3"-8" of snow on top of that. Looks like a good gaming day, lol.

I live in a place where it snows almost every day. We received 72" of snow in January. I am very glad this storm stayed south and missed us all together.

I'll take it! They keep telling us its going to snow but its too warm. We missed out on the snow storm the rest of you got hit by. We had a lot of snow 2 years ago but, we keep getting these mild winters where it warms up to high 30's/low 40's and then drops down into the teens and single digits. It plays hell with the pain in my legs...

I'm in MN. All of you in the northeast have my sympathy; the rest of you whining about snow just make me giggle.
