"When you reach max level, there seems to be very little reason to keep questing....or is there? At max level, all that experience that you would have gotten gets transformed into cold hard cash. And who doesn't want more money? So get to it and get those zones completed!"

All the gold in the last 3 zones combined only totals to like 3k.
You make more than that just working the AH 15 minutes a day.

Some can, and even make way more, but not everyone can!

Rather slam my jewels in a sliding glass door than try and play the AH against all the other money hungry gold diggers.
Quest for cash, or do Archeology. I've been making some pretty decent coin in the past couple days trying to get a Zin'rohk. Made over 2k on Ring of Empress Zoe alone, and that's not including all the other high priced trash I've found.

I'm a lurker and I know it.
Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing.

Great, news flash. You can money question, and even rep too! You can also make money by needing anything you can use. I had to put up with being a needy hunter by needing a lockbox. I won it and opened it finding 35 gold and a boe armor. I always send boes to my priest who will DE and sell/hold the mats. I got a free daily and you spent 15 minutes talking down to a stranger on the internet? I also have over 150k, and I don't even try. So who learned what?

Does gold even matter anymore? I can make a killing from herbing, but honestly haven't had the motivation since I'm sitting on a stockpile of gold that I don't really need.

Pretty sure they stopped giving the gold boost to quests at max lvl with the start of Cata I know after I hit 85 I made same amount of gold from quest turn ins that I was making before 85

They way guild rep is earned you have to keep doing quests long after hitting 85 if you expect to get exalted with them since you earn so little before then.

I learned that your integrity can be bought and sold for 35g and a piece of BOE armor. Not that I am surprised, it seems as though that is the norm for your average member of the WoW community. When you hear people complaining about the character (or lack of) in the community..... you're the type of person they're complaining about. Congratulations.

I'm the Dude. So that's what you call me. You know, that or, uh, His Dudeness, or uh, Duder, or El Duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing.
