We need warning |
Last week I slept late because of the downtime. No down time. Yesterday I checked the web site looking for information on down time. Nothing. I figured it was ok to get up early and get my dailies done. We have down time. You would think they would give us such important information.

I haven't played in a couple months, but for years before that the server status was on the login screen for at least a day prior if there was going to be downtime.

Almost every single Tuesday for 6 years there has been downtime for maintenance.
I think the safer bet is just to assume it's down. Assume Tuesday = downtime and don't give it another thought.

Since not every Tusday is a down time they need to tell us before hand. This is my gaming time and I would rather not skip it, if it can be avoided. Simply telling us would work. Those that play in the morning are losing 1/7 of their game time. 1/6 in my case as Sunday is my wife's day.

Well, he does kind of have a point. I logged in last night and there was no mention of the realms being down. Granted, it is safe to assume they would be, but they've never skipped the message before at the log-in screen.
Doesn't matter much to me, as I went out to buy Rift this morning.  |
