Well here's what it used to say for anyone interested:
TLDR; I love food and I love gaming! And so does my sister. We combined both our loves into a blog. I'd appreciate ya'll checking it out and let me know what you think.

--------------------
There's kinda two-stories here so hang with me for a few minutes. ^_^
Part one...I love gaming. I grew up on console games and computer games. I'm a part of a large family so we always had some epic sibling rivalry RTS tournys going on. And there were always fights for controllers for the Nintendo until they finally came out with four instead of two. (We still fought but there was a little less of it.)
Because we played so many RTS games, of course we ran into Warcraft and immediately loved it. Family of nerds! Yes, we gobbled it up! So of course when WoW came out we all ended up playing it. It's been a really nice way to maintain our gaming sibling connection despite being several states away from each other. We're all casual raiders and have always enjoyed the challenge and the fun times.
Part two...A few months back I went through some medical issues that had me eating the blandest foods you'd ever had. No fruits unless they were canned and mashed. No veggies period. No dairy, no fats, nada. Yuck! I was living off fat free soups and bread for a few months until the docs figured out the problem and fixed me up. Those months really made me realize how much I loved food and loved cooking good food.
On raid nights though, cooking was a hassle! After working all day then heading to the gym then getting home....it sometimes left me with only 20 minutes to fix something. Those nights ended up with meals like Mac & Cheese or Ramen or Corn dogs or other equally fast/easy meals. But after my revelation that I really do like cooking and I like good food, it got me thinking that other people might be in the same boat.
So just for fun, my sister and I put our heads together and came up with this blog. It started out as writing a cookbook but that wasn't nearly as fun as this has been. I hope ya'll will take a moment to visit and tell me what you think. We're hoping to help you out on occasion when you need a quick meal but you don't want to sacrifice quality for speed and you don't want to bust the budget (or diet) by going out to eat or getting pre-made foods.
(Not all the foods posted there are quick meals but they're organized into categories according to time and skill required.)
