And yet, Blizzard STILL hasn't implemented an ability to order pizza in-game for a slight transfer fee. Come on, Blizz, get on the ball, it's a great money maker!

At least they can use all this new income to fund the development of new and exciting content like an update ZG or ZA!

Ouch.

There are those who play tank classes, and those that tank.
The weapon is only as good as the person wielding it.
Free advice is often worth what you pay for it: nothing.

Holy crap, Sprawl has become cynical towards Blizzard and WoW. Ok, this game is definitely on the decline. Glad I let my sub laps.

And no, I'm not joking.

Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing.

Think about it... with the guild progress system, they HAD to add something like this.
I see nothing wrong here. It's a logical addition so guilds can change server without losing their progression.

Same for guild names. Before, you just had to disband, buy a new guild charter, select the new name, and you were good, nothing lost except a bit time to re-invite everybody. You can't do that anymore, or you'll lose all your progression. So it's logical that they add a guild rename service.

SWTOR: 50 Jedi Shadow (Tank), 50 Sith Marauder (Annihilation).
LOTRO: Lifetime account, playing very casually.
WoW: Both accounts canceled for now.
GW2: Future Warrior.

A guild leader can already disband a level 25 guild and wipe out thousands of hours of players' progress and access to rewards they earned.

The new guild system is one of the most retarded design systems blizzard ever came up with.

You should trust and respect your guild leader, so this shouldn't be an issue. Kinda sad how things have evolved though for this to be an occasional occurrence.

Large guilds disband/meltdown all the time and it is an extremely common occurrence.

And people are forced to trust the guild leader, which is THE gist of the problem. Self absorbed asshat guild leaders have the ability to wipe out the progress of literally hundreds of players on their server with simple command: /gdisband.

Most, retarded, design, ever.

Has there been a game where a Guild Leader could not disband a guild?

Currently in the MMO unemployment line.
Can I get $15/month for not playing them?

Maybe they're just getting ready for server mergers? [smirk] Or, as others have suggested, it's just another way for them to make a quick buck.
