Korea, Taiwan, and China region all offered time based subscription.

China region is the cheapest, at at about $4 per 4000 mins (66 hours) of play time.

that's pretty good actually. I mean, it's not the cost per se, i just do not think that WoW (in it's current iteration) is actually worth fifteen dollars a month.

Hell, why can't we have that option?

china != everyone for income or business models.

If $16/mo is too much for you to handle you should probably be more focused on your education or employment, because that is such a trivial amount of money compared to the rest of life's costs that it's not even worth mentioning.

Even if you only play a few times a month it's still dirt cheap entertainment per dollar.

for those oddball days when i get the urge to log in and just goof around, I wish they had the option to maybe pay like, 1 dollar for 24 hours worth of play time.
I could deal with that. Just so long it wasn't a recurring $1/day sub, i'd be cool with paying here and there for the option to log in and do stuff.

If you want to see the game improve, stop doing that (#*$

Seriously, at this point, the only way to see Ghostidiot fired and positive changes made is to stop paying blizzard money

to all the asshats telling him to get a better job because of $15 // month

There is a huge difference between not being able to afford $15
and wanting to pay $15

I can afford "a lot" of things, but if i feel the price isn't what I want to pay, I don't.
It in no way means I need a better job. lol

I to, would be interested in a payment plan for WoW that was maybe a few bucks for a weekend, but I wouldn't play enough to justify subbing for a month. It isn't that I can't afford to spend $15, it's just that it would be wasted, because I wouldn't use the subscription.

If you think about it, we (aon and I) are talking about paying an inflated price, for a smaller time allotment.

24 hour pass or a rate for X number of hours, would be EXCELLENT.

But I think Blizzard would lose more than it would win.

Casual people will very fast make the calcuation and deduce well, If I only log in for 4 hours in the week....better to change to a "pay and play" system, rather than a monthly sub.

I know why I cancelled -> xpac is not that good.5 levels was a mistake....it should be 10 minimum. Blizzard missed the boat on some real innovation or even "keeping up" with the idea of dynamic content, player "events", public quests, etc...this "Phasing" technology -> worst idea ever (started off great, but when the zones are soooo heavily phased, content is so linear that there is no real "exploration" of the world
