It reminds of a kid trying to ride a bike. When they can't do it, they throw the bike to the ground in disgust and say, 'This is stupid, boring, broken and not fun.'.
Dums that's not a very good analogy. A better analogy might be if they changed the flavor if your favorite cereal, do you keep eating because they tell you to, even if you don't like it the new way?
I don't agree with the 'how' of Peo's post but underneath that the point seems valid.

Ya, but on top of changing the flavor they didn't tell you to start eating your cereal with a fork, too. You still have the spoon.

Which changes the fact that the "new" cereal sucks in what way?
From which one can only conclude that people use their "spoon" to eat a different cereal, compounded by the fact that the original cereal manufacturer responds to this disdain for the new product with remarks like, "If you don't like it, you are eating it wrong!!".

And look, I don't play a healer so I don't know. All I have to go off of is word of mouth. The people I hang around with in game never really say anything bad about healing in it's current state, though they didn't like it when Cataclysm first came out.

You mean like anyone who doesn't like the new healing, which you have no clue about by your own admission, is a bad player? You are quite the hypocrit.
And with your latest bad analogy, you don't still have the same spoon, you have a tiny spoon that weighs 4 times what it used to. Carrying it farther, healing is now like using a milliliter sized spoon that weighs 4 tons, instead of using a teaspoon. I would gladly converse with people who didn't automatically start in with the insults and who could give a qualified opinion, instead of bad analogies, hearsay and no real experience with what they are talking about.
Or in other words, I don't really like talking to blowhards who parrot "other" people and have no idea what they are talking about and instead revert to calling people names. I mean, I can respond in like, but it really doesn't qualify as conversation.
And please, spare me the comments about limited point of view, you have no idea what you are talking about, you even admit you don't but MY point of view is limited?

The difference being that I've admitted to not knowing firsthand. Never did I say 'I know firsthand!', and I've stated I only know what I see. If you play a healer, Peo, that makes you like 1% more qualified than I am to say what I've said, because one healer's point of view does not equal the majority. People like you, and your point of views, are heard more because you're LOUDER.
Keep it civil if you're going to argue.
