Exactly. An no, I am not being sarcastic, you might be, but in your attempt to be glib, you have stumbled upon the truth.

i am having a blast and i love the horde vs alliance competition. its isle of quel all over again instead of the boring argent tournment style
Yea I liked the Isle of Q. Not only the constant conflict, but when you were done you could go out and hunt Horde or Alliance, grief, etc.
I also enjoy being pitted against the other side. But also isn't this expansion more about Horde vs Alliance then the previous? To that end doesn't it make sense that we are in constant battle in shared places with them now? I am fine with this.

Surely you cant mean that people are supposed to fight the enemy on a PVP server!!

I don't necessarily have any gripes about this being a tiny PVP-FFA zone for the most part. IQD was that way before and people eventually got over it. I remember most of the whining was from people who got banned exploiting things like standing on the ship masts shooting people where they couldn't fight back.

I like it when the game world and associated mechanics for the area aren't driving the PvP, it just turns out to be a happy accident that PvP happens to be fun there. As it was in the Isle of Q. And also when it's ripe for good old griefing.

Considering what a disappointment Tol Barad turned out to be, it's nice to have someplace with a little world pvp going on. Frankly it's the only thing that makes the dailies the least bit tolerable since they're already getting routine.
