At least they are finally falling.
This can only be good for players. Blizzard needs some serious humility.

Humility will have nothing to do with it. It will be "WoW is old, it's the natural aging and death process of MMo's. Go us, look how long we kept it going. Go us, look at all the subscription records we broke."

While extremely funny I'll play devil's advocate and say that Blizzard only counts current subscriptions when they release official numbers. No trial accounts, expired accounts, banned accounts ect.
