Last week Blizzard Entertainment filed for a new Trademark - "Mists of Pandaria". Could it be the next expansion? Or, even more intriguing, their next MMO? What do you think?

Looks like Blizzard will be making a big announcement at BlizzCon. Their trademark registrations always appear a few months before BlizzCon. Remember when they trademarked 'Wrath'? I honestly can't decide if it's a new MMO or the next expac. I can't imagine they'd be announcing the next expac already but who knows? 'Pandaria' does sound a lot like what you'd call the homeland of the Pandaren Monks.  Could be the next hero class?

The reason I put their next MMO on the table is the interesting tidbit that Mike Morhaime said at last year's BlizzCon. He said two things(paraphrasing):
"The only thing I can tell you now is that it will be a new franchise unrelated to Starcraft, Warcraft or Diablo."
"Next year you'll see a lot more info about our next MMO."

Yeah but "Mists of Pandaria" sounds very fantasy-based. I doubt they'd make another fantasy MMO to compete with their cashcow.
It's gotta be the next expansion, especially since the rumor mill a while back was saying their new MMO would be a shooter, not an RPG.

Their next mmo is an fps based mmo. Pandaren doesn't exactly say fps to me.
You're talking about the company who created an expansion around space traveling goats. Why are Pandaren 'with lasers' so out of the question...
