There are many strategies that could be used to win a battleground but let's talk about the oldest BG of them all -- Warsong Gulch. What are the best strategies you've seen used? What are the most unusual but effective? What strategies have you seen that you were sure would fail but succeeded for whatever reason? What do you think the top ten strategies for winning WSG are?

I won a WSG 3-0 day before yesterday with 6 rogues. At first I was like  This is going to suck. But when you put 4 rogues as defense/efc snipes and then the other two with your single warrior and single healer...it worked well! The other team thinks there's only the healer and the flag runner but out pop two rogues to destroy you and the rest of the team coming up to support.
Coordination. That's what wins.

Good thing no one at blizzard actually plays this game, they might figure out how to make it an actual challenge for pre-mades

Avoid the scrum in the middle of the map UNLESS a flag carrier is involved. If a flag carrier is involved in the scrum ALWAYS enter the fight.

Once in a blue moon I will put together a 10 paladin team....
But its gets very boring very quickly.

Get 10 druids, half resto, half feral. Easy win.
