Raid Finder
* The Raid Finder will be introduced in Patch 4.3, it will work like the Dungeon Finder.
The other shoe finally dropped vis-a-vis the new raid lockout system. Looks like come patch 4.3 you'll be able to queue up for raids. There aren't many details available yet but it's conceivable that you'll be able to queue for specific bosses or get matched with people that are locked to the same bosses.

Can you imagine how much (practically 100%) epic fail this is going to be?
Every terribad and their brother with bad gear, bad gemming/enchanting, etc. will be in LFR, and 99.99% of those groups will wipe on the first trash pull and break up.
People still wipe on heroic 5 mans, I cannot wait for the comedy in trade chat once this goes live

This will probably be set up to not include heroic raids, thus they will nerf the piss out of normal raids.

Well the tool is nice but raids are too hard to be pug'd.

this will be awesome. heroic 5man pugs are pretty cakewalk these days in my experience so it will be nice to do something new. i'm sure the normal modes of many raids will be able to be done + it will be cool to do old expansion raids on alts. in the rare case that even the easy 10man raids are so difficult to complete at 85 they will probably nerf em so they are able to be done, but i don't think they will be so hard.

Yes, WoW has reached the ultimate Lobby game now! Now players will never have to leave SW or Org.

As long as they set minimum reqs such as, no PVP gear, gemmed to a point, enchanted to a point then it may be successful. Currently w/ the LFD there is a min ilvl, thats easy enough to enforce, so possibly just to a PVP check, etc, it can be done.

40min queue to find 1 tank on my server... 80min to find at least 2 for a raid lol?

Kinda my sentiments. I can see why people get frustrated when trying to look for a group, but honestly, I like this mechanic. However, I'm of the old world group that liked working for each new achievement and always building my character in an online gaming world.
