"Best place by far for Alliance to farm Linen Cloth is by the new Sentinel Hill. Go down to the bottom of the hill and kill Riverpaw Gnolls. They respawn very fast - sometimes a new one spawns before the last one hits the ground. For Horde the best place to farm is the south entrance of the Sludge Fields in Hillsbrad. You'll find Risen Ghouls that come in packs to die. They drop linen and wool so it's a two-for-one there!"

Easier to farm RFC and get 4-6 pieces off the humanoids.

Except you can only enter 5 instances in 1 hour. If you really need to farm it, then you're probably not going to get enough in those 5 instances, plus it will lock you out of any other instances for that time as well.

I'm a lurker and I know it.
Post count just means you spend too much time reading and not enough playing.

Tips don't have to make sense.

I am still waiting for the tip that says "spend your talent points!"

Well if you're trying to level tailoring, first aid and enchanting...this is a quick and easy way to do it. And if you've just rerolled on a server it's a nice way to earn some simple startup cash. People pay a surprising amount for linen on some servers. I've seen it sell for as little as 1g/stack to as much as 15g/stack. But still, gold is gold when you don't have a high level to fund you yet.

People pay around 20g for wool on my server (EU Steamwheedle Cartel) - great news as I've just started over.
